Rabbi Saul Berkus, born and raised in the United States, came to Eretz Yisrael to begin his post-high school education in 1996. He learned in various Yeshivos - both American and Israeli, for 8 years where he received his education - both religious and secular, with an emphasis on Psychology and Philosophy. In 2003 he married and settled in the Old City of Jerusalem where he joined Yeshivas Bircas HaTorah and received his Semicha (Rabbinic ordination). He has been learning and teaching there ever since. His classes include a range of topics such as Chumash, Mishna, Gemorah, Chovos Halevovos and other sefarim on mussar and hashkofa.
Rabbi Berkus is known for his ability to teach clearly and effectively to audiences of all levels.
